Salesforce Aquires Kieden Launches Salesforce for Google Adwords
While sitting in 30th Street Station in Philly on my way to a Salesforce.com luncheon billed as an "exclusive, invitation-only" event to announce "something"... I come across this on TechCrunch, "Salesforce Dives Deep into Google Adwords". Guess this is the "something". According to this article on TechRepublic, it was announced yesterday in Boston.
The technology behind Salesforce for Adwords comes from Kieden Corporation, which was acquired by Salesforce earlier this month.
Anyone know how much they paid?

An email was just sent to users of Kieden from Marc Benioff, which in part said:
We look forward to growing and accelerating Kieden’s vision of helping search marketers run and measure which keywords are generating results - all within salesforce.com. We will be extending your free trial until further notice.

Yeah, all the blogs were abuzz with Marc's announcement of Kieden's acquisition - which took place in Boston.
I was like, "Man, if he's announcing that in Boston, the New York City announcement must be HUGE!!!" Guess not so much - more of a flashback to the IPO period...
