A Tree Just Fell in the Forest

Salesforce.com launched it's 20th iteration of Salesforce.com in the form of the Summer '06 release.

The biggest piece appears to be the PRM functionality announced last month.  Other highlights include:

  • Advanced Call Scripting (AppExchange App)
  • Service Entitlements (AppExchange App)
  • Mobile Enhancements
  • Lead History Tracking
  • Unlimited Custom Tabs (Unlimited Edition)
  • Salesforce Connector for SAP R/3

The launch has been covered here and here.

Anybody who's had a look at the new R/3 connector -- would you recommend it over the ones available from partners on appecxhange?

The connector is actually developed by a third party company called Sierra Atlantic.
