Couple of (non)Updates
A few quick updates for you today.
1) As of 10:52am, February 14th, the System Status page is still NOT available to all customers as had been previously mentioned in some emails to customers from Salesforce.com
2) The case I opened with Salesforce on January 17th regarding issues with the customer forum RSS feeds has just been escaled to Tier 2 support -- only 28 days. CLOSED
3) No snow globe.
4) Still looking for a copy of Benioff's The Power of Us.
(Non)Update #1: 9:00am EST, Feb. 15th and status page still not available to all customers even though the CSM at yesterday's Philadelphia User Group meeting indicated that is was available.
(Non)Update #2: 9:13am EST, Feb 15th - my case mentioned above was picked up by a Tier 2 support rep; however, I've just noticed that the RSS links have now been removed from the Customer Forums. Hello Salesforce.com? Can someone with a clue please confirm what is going on with the RSS feeds or lack thereof for the Customer Success forums. In two days this SIMPLE case will have been open for 30 days. Thank you.
Update #3: Thanks to Kingsley and Anon for the RSS information in the comments.

From what I understand, they wanted to make sure that the site can handle the load before making it live to all customers. I guess it is taking longer than expected.

As far as the RSS feed, there's issues around the authentication of the rss feed. since the forums aren't public, and lithium (the forum software being used) doesn't do a good job handling the authentication piece in conjunction with RSS feeds, they're having a hard time enabling it.

Thanks Anon. I guess I was the only one to report, since Support has no idea what I'm talking about: "I'm not familiar with the "RSS Links" that you are referred to in your email this morning."

Mark, I just heard about your RSS issue. I have recently been working with our vendor to provide RSS feeds to all boards. We have an issue providing RSS on the Successforce.com boards since they are not open to the public (as opposed to our developer boards). We will get this fixed soon, probably by opening up the Successforce.com boards. I apologize for the delay in dealing with your bug report.
